Product Description
Plastic boning - corset tape, or artificial whalebone – is a dense plastic tape 5 mm wide.
Used in making firm, cinching corsets, to shape and support garments without straps, in stage costumes and wedding dresses. It can also be used in making toys, bags, hats and albums. It cannot be sewn with a straight stitch; as a rule, it is inserted or sewn into the darts of a dress bodice, and in skirts or trousers with a high corset waistband — into the darts and seams of the waistband.
