Natural raffia, bright plum color, 1 meter. Raffia is very strong yet elastic; tearing the thread into several parts requires considerable force. At the same time, raffia easily separates into fibers and strips along its length. Raffia is used as a decorative element in scrapbooking, handmade crafts (including with children), appliqués, for making baskets, small bouquets, nests, eco-style projects and floristry, and for gift wrapping (e.g., for filling gift boxes or as a ribbon).
