UHU Instant Super Gel glue 3 g

UHU universal one-component instant gel glue based on cyanoacrylate bonds most materials almost instantly, does not run, and is suitable for sloped and vertical surfaces (including gluing parts located overhead). It fills in small unevenness on the surfaces being glued.

It usually sets within a few seconds, so it is best used for gluing small surfaces. Suitable for almost all materials, both flexible and rigid.

Not suitable for repairing leather clothing. The glue is only conditionally suitable for glass, as the bond eventually dries out. Not suitable for polyethylene, polypropylene, silicone joints, Teflon (PTFE) or styrofoam.

On surfaces with an acidic reaction (for example wood, ceramics, porcelain, leather) the gluing process is slower. The thinner the glue layer, the stronger the bond and the faster the glue sets. The glue is completely transparent and gives a practically invisible bond.

Withstands short-term exposure to water. Items may also be exposed to a wide range of temperatures: the glue withstands any temperature up to +80°C (low temperatures – practically no limits).

Instructions for use:

- The key to a successful bond is a perfectly clean and dry surface. If the material allows it, it is recommended to wipe the bonding area several times with solvents (acetone, etc.). When gluing metals, it is enough to clean the surface with emery cloth or a brush.

- Apply the UHU Sekundenkleber Gel instant glue to one of the surfaces to be bonded, and immediately join it with the other. Excess glue from the dispenser can be wiped off with a paper tissue right after use.

- sets (depending on the material) within a few seconds or a few minutes. Maximum bond strength is reached after 12:00.

The bond can be separated by heating to 180 °C, and also by long-term exposure to water or acetone. High humidity speeds up bonding, so you can blow on the applied glue to speed up the process.

Use acetone to remove glue residue.

Precautions:

The glue bonds very quickly in high humidity (for example, on contact with sweat, skin oil, tears, etc.), so be extremely careful when working with it.

If it gets on the skin, rinse the area with warm soapy water for a long time, then separate the glue layer (without applying significant force!) and apply a greasy cream to the affected area.

If your fingers get stuck together, hold them in warm water and then try to separate them with a paper clip or wire. You can also remove the glue with acetone or nail polish remover. As organic solvents strongly degrease the skin, it is recommended to apply hand cream. Glue residue on the skin can be removed with a pumice stone.

If glue splashes get into the mouth or eyes, keep them open and rinse with plenty of water.

The glue has a strong odor, so it is recommended to apply large amounts of glue in well-ventilated rooms.

Storage:

After use, the glue must be closed and stored in a cool place (refrigerator, etc.)
