Oxide inks Ranger - Tim Holtz - Distress Oxides - Barn Door. They combine the properties of pigment inks and dye-based inks. Like pigment inks, they can be used on many surfaces, light and dark, producing a bright opaque impression. At the same time, they blend like dye-based inks. The inks are quite "wet" and opaque, and can be used for embossing. They give a crisp, detailed impression that becomes much brighter after misting with water (this is the distinctive feature of Oxides inks compared to other types!). When applying inks of different colors, they do not turn muddy; they layer, and the result resembles chalk inks, but the impression does not smear.
