Product Description
Oxide ink Ranger - Tim Holtz - Distress Oxides - Shabby Shutters. Combines the properties of pigment inks and dye-based inks. Like pigment inks, they can be used on many surfaces - light and dark - producing a bright opaque impression. At the same time, they blend like dye-based inks. The inks are quite "wet" and opaque, and can be used for embossing. They give a crisp, detailed impression that becomes much brighter when water is sprayed on it (this is a distinctive feature of Oxides inks, unlike other types!). When applying inks of different colors, they do not become muddy: they are applied in layers, and the result resembles chalk inks, but the impression does not smudge.
