Natural raffia, vanilla color, 55-70 g. Raffia is very strong yet elastic; a thread can only be torn into several pieces with considerable effort. At the same time, raffia splits easily into fibers and strips along its length. Raffia is used as a decorative element in scrapbooking projects, in crafts (including with children), in appliqué, for making baskets, posies and nests, in eco-style projects, in floristry, and for wrapping gifts (e.g., for filling gift boxes).
